Allicom Technical Services was incorporated in 1993. I (Don Jackson) am self employed and the company has only 1 employee (Me). I am an honour graduate of telecommunications from SAIT and after graduation I went to work for Telus for 21 Years.
Over the years I have had employees, I did join up with other small companies to form partnerships, but in the end I found my niche to be on my own. My best product is myself, my best friends are my clients and my best partners are my suppliers. Telecommunications in the Calgary area is extremely competitive. The general rule is if you survive here, you can survive anywhere. My advantage in this market is that I am small. When you call Allicom I answer the call. I am the person who does the wiring, the moves, the adds, changes, installs, programming etc. so if you have a question or a problem there is no call transfer, callbacks, referrals and so on - I am it! |
