Kelowna BC, is the location of the Paws N' Pals Canine Academy. Dog grooming school and daycare services. Our services include your pet's fur cutting and grooming services for dogs as well as doggie daycare services for the dogs and dog owners of Kelowna, BC. Our Kelowna BC, location remains the same but in addition to the existing Doggie Daycare business you have grown used to at Paws N' Pals Doggy Daycare inc. Brandy has now added a high quality, highly skilled professional Canine Cosmetologist dog grooming service for our Canine (K-9, K9) Friends (pets, pet, pet's) and a dog grooming school. The existing business has undergone a slight name change to reflect the companies expanded services under it's new ownership. The location in Kelowna is still the same, but with the school up and running providing more grooming services, easy access and a central location, the company's new name is Paws N' Pals Canine Academy. Brandy and her staff are very excited to be able to offer this excellent combination of high quality training and dog care services to future groomers as well as the dogs and dog owners of Kelowna, BC! If you are currently training your dog, training commands will be reinforced by our daycare specialists to aid you to train your dog consistently.

What to look for in a Canine Cosmetologist all depends on the dog owners’ needs - a dog that is well styled, clean cut and well cared for is a happy dog! Whether your dogs hair is long or short, being well groomed, brushed and clean is the key to good dog grooming and your dogs good health.

With our new dog grooming school in place Dog grooming is a large part of the services we are currently offering but we also provide daycare, dog walking, qualified dog walkers to walk your dogs, self bathing facilities where trained staff are available to aid you in bathing your own dogs

Professional quality grooming is a very important part of your dog's overall health. Your dogs grooming should be maintained regularly in our dog grooming salon (3- 9 weeks is usual). Longhaired dogs are the most important to keep cut and brushed out. Matted dogs can get very serious skin conditions; the hair pulls and hurts. If the hair gets wet and keeps the skin wet it can form hotspots (Open sores). These can be avoided by cutting and grooming.

Nail Trims are also important because they can change your dogs posture, and the angle their feet stand (if the toes are arched up because of the nails are too long this changes the way they walk and stand).
