Shuswap Lake Provincial Park has a wonderful beach offering a grassy play area with an adventure playground. There is a big boat launch incredible nature trails. Sorrento Center, as host to the August Blue Grass Festival and other music venues, is becoming known to visitors from across the continent. An annual Show 'n Shine provides car buffs with the opportunity to show off their treasures and view those of others. The village shops cater to all the needs of our visitors.
Shuswap Lake is shaped like an addled H and is made up of four large arms: the Shuswap Lake Main Arm, Salmon Arm, Anstey Arm, and Seymour Arm. The product of the glacial scouring that also rounded the surrounding Shuswap Highlands, all four arms converge at Cinnemousun Narrows, northeast of Sicamous.
